Our Antitrust Group specializes in assistance to local and cross-border mergers, providing consultation with respect to merger notification requirements, assisting with notification and providing legal support until antitrust approval is obtained. We offer antitrust consultation in various merger transactions, including companies merger, purchase of assets or rights, long-term licenses or leases, etc.
We provide ongoing consultation to our clients on implementing antitrust law. Our services include antitrust compliance programs and legal opinions regarding various commercial practices such as supplier, client and agent agreements, joint ventures, research and development contracts, consultation to unions and more.
We represent clients in a range of proceedings before the Antitrust Commissioner and the Antitrust Tribunal, including applications for exemptions to restrictive arrangements, hearing procedures prior to decisions such as monopoly declaration or enforcement of monetary sanctions and appealing such decisions to the Antitrust Tribunal. We are also experienced in approaching the Antitrust Commissioner regarding objections to merger or restrictive transactions and reporting third party violations of antitrust laws. .
