Simon A. Weintraub


Simon Weintraub is a partner in the firm's international corporate department, specializing in High-tech, Life Sciences, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Banking and Finance, and is the co-head of the firm's China Practice and Oil & Gas Practice.
Simon regularly represents Israeli and international venture capital funds, angel investors, private equity funds, Israeli and foreign banks, emerging growth companies, entrepreneurs and multinational corporations.

Simon represents both lenders and borrowers on a wide range of financing transactions, especially with respect to cross-border lending transactions. Simon has been involved in Israel's largest project finance transactions in the field of oil and gas. Furthermore, Simon was recently involved in the first ever IPO of an Israeli company in Hong Kong.

Simon lectures regularly before clients and institutions regarding investing in start-ups.

Simon joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2008.

Simon received a degree magna cum laude in political science from York University of Toronto in 1995. He received his buisness law degree from Bar Ilan University in 1999.
Simon was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 2000.
