Eli Greenbaum’s practice focuses on licensing, corporate partnering and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on transactions and disputes involving complex technological matters.
Eli has extensive experience representing global and emerging companies in the semiconductor, cybersecurity and software industries, as well as in the biotechnology and medical device industries. Eli frequently advises on matters concerning technological standards and free and open source licenses, has published widely in these areas, and counsels clients on related compliance and licensing strategies.
Eli often brings his experience and technical background to regulatory and contentious matters concerning data protection and data security, including incident response planning, investigation and risk management.
Prior to joining Yigal Arnon & Co., Eli practiced for several years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York. Eli clerked at the Supreme Court of Israel under Justice Miriam Naor and the District Court of Jerusalem under Judge David Cheshin.
Eli joined the firm in 2007 and became a partner in 2016.
