Kobi Ben-Chitrit’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, IPOs and diverse corporate and commercial transactions. Kobi represents acquirers, VCs and target companies in acquisitions and financings, and is dedicated to providing his clients with the comprehensive legal services on an ongoing basis. He also has extensive experience advising technology start-ups regarding optimal corporate structuring, and counsels companies from their early stages from first financing through acquisition or initial public offering and beyond.

Kobi also has considerable experience handling international technology licensing, OEM, partnering, distribution and other commercial technology - related agreements for companies active in various fields.

Kobi is recognized by his colleagues and peers as a leading force in the Israeli M&A scene. The Legal 500 (2011 edition) recognizes Kobi Ben Chitrit as “an exceptional lawyer and a true business partner’ in the Hi-Tech field. Most recently, he was selected as one of the world's leading Merger & Acquisition lawyers by “Who’s Who Legal”.

With vast legal experience of over 18 years, among others as an attorney in the US law firm of Hogan Hartson, Kobi provides comprehensive personalized legal counseling to a variety of clients.  

With his entrepreneurial background in establishing high-tech companies, Kobi works closely with his clients, providing them with insight and observation to the ongoing activity of their business.

Kobi is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in the course “Investments and Exits of Emerging Growth Companies”.
Kobi joined the firm in 1999 and became a partner in 2006.

Kobi graduated from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1997.
Kobi was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1997.
